But if you think rationally, sometimes, they are the ones helping you more than an enemy! Even when they say hurtful words which makes sense!

Today, i decided to make a very 'make-or-break' move to tell my boss about my business and a software which i developed without his knowledge. This is one of the worst thing an employee can tell to his/her employer. Knowing the fact that the boss will either be upset or lost total trust on the employee.

I've got a very strong feeling/prompting from Holy Spirit to speaketh the truth and to let him know that the software I developed will greatly enhanced the current software which my boss' company is selling. Which may in turn 'kill' off our competitor and gain us the edge in the industry.

However, I could sense his disappointment in hearing the system although he mentioned that the system i developed can be an useful add-on to the current. I created this system with a strong core-belief of NON-conflict of interest with the current, therefore, i hope the Holy Spirit will speak to him and let him make the decision on whether to take my software up and work out a plan.

Thank God for the day, amen.

- debaholic Blog 2006 -

Being a tither and Christian

I have been a born-again since I was in secondary 1. Thank God for meeting Bro Ivan who invited me to church to know HIM. My life has been tremendously changed since. I quit smoking, and life has been blessed with an education which just happened miraculously.

However, being a christian can sometimes be tiresome and burdensome. I had a rocky Christianity walk even when i received so much grace and love from HIM. He never took his eyes from me. He speaks to me as and when especially when i am very down. Now in HIS presence and watching City Harvest Church - Pastor Kong Hee's message on First Thing Policy, i felt the conviction again which propelled me to do something that has done me so much good in the past. Which is to Tithe.

It is not easy to be a Christian, let alone tithing 10% of whatever your income is. Alot of people like me has lots of financial commitment varying from insurance policy, daily expenses, contribution to family and parents. I dont earn a lot. I am just like a normal working adult drawing an average or rather below average pay in Singapore. Many at times we wonder how will we able to survive without the 10%. In Singapore, contribute 20% of our monthly salary to CPF - which is a lawful obligation for saving for our retirement.

I am in a situation where tithing can be suicidal, I am a struggling Singaporean who got into troubles after my brother ran away with a huge debt on my family where we were forced to sell out flat(house). To make matter worst, we just signed a one-year lease for my rented house where i dont even have money to pay (based on my savings and salary) from the 6th month onwards.

I am not sharing this to be proud to be a tither. I know none of my friend read this. The purpose of posting this post is for me to come back 6 months down the road knowing tithing has OPENED heaven. Pastor Kong talks about putting God first - which i havent done that for the past decade. A back-sliden christian who has enjoyed so much blessings after knowing him not only on monetary form, to suddenly non-trusting man who stood on his own.

Without HIM, i wont be who I am today and 10 years later. HE is the reason for my being today. I decided to tithe today even if my pay is running out and not paying on the first drawing of my pay. I feel it doesnt matter when you give, as long as the conviction hits you. I want to tithe from this month on (knowing that in physical or rather 'realistically' it will only hinder me further away from buying my own flat or paying rental). I trust in His word and promise that heaven will be opened and I promise to post my testimonial once i gotten them. I know they will come, because God has never failed his promises He spoke in my life. (Only to be waivered by the deceiving devil that i am a forgotten man by HIM.

Thank God for the opportunity to tithe again and Holy Spirt for prompting me to watch the sermon on internet once again.

With thanks to God.
James Loh - a unforgotten boy in His eyes.

- debaholic Blog 2006 -

10 areas that create problems

hi, i am back after a few months of hiatus again. As usual. Been too busy to update this blog since i have gotten myself a new IT blog site to update.

But i always enjoy updating here simply because no one else is reading except myself. I was thinking of what to share or blog for this entry and i came across the following on yahoo news: 10 signs that you have a bad boss. The URL or link is as follow:

http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/news/10-Signs-You-Have-a-Bad-usnews-1758062938.html?x=0

I have no complaints about my boss but sometimes, things can be sorted easily. Humans tend to make mistakes and for the past 2 weeks I saw my friend paying for a mistake he made a few years back. Sometimes, most mistakes actually originated from MONEY $$

I am saying Money $ because $ is not only the ROOT of all EVIL, but also the root of most problems! Do you agree? Anyway, being inspired by the '10 items' blog yahoo always post, I will come out with my own version of 10 ares in life that create problems, and possibly, HOW TO AVOID them!

10 areas in life that create problems.
Learn to avoid them!

Money - Money is the root of all PROBLEMS - which leads to problem. Research shows that quarrels normally started because of money.

Woman - Yes, i am not a sexist, but woman normally creates lots of problems when not properly deal with. Of course, man is always their reason why they create problem(s). Yes, menses or PMS is another reason why they are constantly at our heels at time.

Boss - oh man, unless you are a boss yourself! We spend most of our time in office or workplace and most of the time, the problem comes when you encounter a difficult or hard-to-deal-with boss! However, at least you are paid to have the problems, isn't it?

Looks - Sometimes, a bad hair day may cost your day. You may end up scolding or annoying people who you dont intend to. The possible solution is, spend 5 minutes dolling yourself up or avoid mirror at ALL costs! The problem with human is the obsession to look at yourself in the mirror. (If you think you are innocent, please quote me wrong for the following example: When you look at a picture, who you look at first? You? Yes!)

Food - I don't know about you, but most of the time, food defines my day. When I had a bad meal, my mood will swing towards the wrong end. Remember, eating nice (need not expensive) food is not a crime! Whereas the opposite may make you fat! REASON: Just one bad food causes you to eat 3-5 nicer food to cover/recover your taste bud! Conclusion: Think before you eat!

Time - Some people rush and rush and has 1001 reasons for being busy. Time creates lots of problem for anyone who fail to plan. Remember, when you 'fail to plan, you plan to fail'!

Gadgets - 10 years ago, people are on pager and other slower devices. 10 years later you find most people finding it hard to keep up with gadgets. They are the most obvious problems in life because you end up spending $$$ for something that you DON'T even know HOW TO FULLY USE IT!? WTF

Fashion Trend - Fashion trend is no longer a female thing. Men tend to spend lots of precious time and $ and get hooked on Gmarket or similar blogshop to spend their spare cash. This becomes a problem when you are actually searching for your favourite dress during office hours! Remember this, advertisement make you buy something you dont need, spend money that you dont even have at times. A good way to minimize this is to find some sweet talker to tell you that you look great in your current dressing/shirt.

Friends - Do you believe this? - Our friends normally shape how we will be like. If you friends struggle to manage the above 8 items, how far are you do you think you are? Getting the 'right' friends is the most important decision. Not career or whatsoever! Choose wisely. Dr. A.R bernard once mentioned: "If you are the best in your cohort or group, LEAVE the group!" I know this sound cruel but the fact is you wont improve until you get yourself friends who are much better than you. Trust me, you will get better as time goes by.

Yourself - Chinese always has a saying: "The greatest enemy is YOURSELF". It's so F**K**G true! If you cant even beat yourself, how far can you go? But you may question me, how to beat yourself? It's simple, complete your next project before timeline!

The above are the things that you would most likely encounter if you are not an alien. (Perhaps aliens do encounter some of the above mentioned? Bad hair day for example? LOL)

Conclusion: Sometimes, problems exists for the obvious reason of challenging yourself. The clue to this entry is: Always look for reasons for optimism and your mood or day can be much brighter!

- debaholic Blog 2006 -

10 Time-Management Tips That Work

By Joe Mathews, Don Debolt and Deb Percival

Chances are good that, at some time in your life, you've taken a time-management class, read about it in books, and tried to use an electronic or paper-based day planner to organize, prioritize and schedule your day. "Why, with this knowledge and these gadgets," you may ask, "do I still feel like I can't get everything done I need to?"

The answer is simple. Everything you ever learned about managing time is a complete waste of time because it doesn't work.

Before you can even begin to manage time, you must learn what time is. A dictionary defines time as "the point or period at which things occur." Put simply, time is when stuff happens.

There are two types of time: clock time and real time. In clock time, there are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day and 365 days in a year. All time passes equally. When someone turns 50, they are exactly 50 years old, no more or no less.

In real time, all time is relative. Time flies or drags depending on what you're doing. Two hours at the department of motor vehicles can feel like 12 years. And yet our 12-year-old children seem to have grown up in only two hours.

Which time describes the world in which you really live, real time or clock time?

The reason time-management gadgets and systems don't work is that these systems are designed to manage clock time. Clock time is irrelevant. You don't live in or even have access to clock time. You live in real time, a world in which all time flies when you are having fun or drags when you are doing your taxes.

The good news is that real time is mental. It exists between your ears. You create it. Anything you create, you can manage. It's time to remove any self-sabotage or self-limitation you have around "not having enough time," or today not being "the right time" to start a business or manage your current business properly.

There are only three ways to spend time: thoughts, conversations and actions. Regardless of the type of business you own, your work will be composed of those three items.

As an entrepreneur, you may be frequently interrupted or pulled in different directions. While you cannot eliminate interruptions, you do get a say on how much time you will spend on them and how much time you will spend on the thoughts, conversations and actions that will lead you to success.

Practice the following techniques to become the master of your own time:

Tip 1: Carry a schedule and record all your thoughts, conversations and activities for a week. This will help you understand how much you can get done during the course of a day and where your precious moments are going. You'll see how much time is actually spent producing results and how much time is wasted on unproductive thoughts, conversations and actions.

Tip 2: Any activity or conversation that's important to your success should have a time assigned to it. To-do lists get longer and longer to the point where they're unworkable. Appointment books work. Schedule appointments with yourself and create time blocks for high-priority thoughts, conversations, and actions. Schedule when they will begin and end. Have the discipline to keep these appointments.

Tip 3: Plan to spend at least 50 percent of your time engaged in the thoughts, activities and conversations that produce most of your results.

Tip 4: Schedule time for interruptions. Plan time to be pulled away from what you're doing. Take, for instance, the concept of having "office hours." Isn't "office hours" another way of saying "planned interruptions?"

Tip 5: Take the first 30 minutes of every day to plan your day. Don't start your day until you complete your time plan. The most important time of your day is the time you schedule to schedule time.

Tip 6: Take five minutes before every call and task to decide what result you want to attain. This will help you know what success looks like before you start. And it will also slow time down. Take five minutes after each call and activity to determine whether your desired result was achieved. If not, what was missing? How do you put what's missing in your next call or activity?

Tip 7: Put up a "Do not disturb" sign when you absolutely have to get work done.

Tip 8: Practice not answering the phone just because it's ringing and e-mails just because they show up. Disconnect instant messaging.

Tip 9: Don't instantly give people your attention unless it's absolutely crucial in your business to offer an immediate human response. Instead, schedule a time to answer email and return phone calls.

Tip 10: Block out other distractions like Facebook and other forms of social media unless you use these tools to generate business.

Remember that it's impossible to get everything done. Also remember that odds are good that 20 percent of your thoughts, conversations and activities produce 80 percent of your results.

Matthews has held management roles with Subway, Blimpie, Motophoto and The Entrepreneur's Source. In my previously posts, I gave a conclusion and definition of REGRET.

REGRET is a memory which propels us to do better next time! (I dont think many people would commit the same mistake which leads to their regret) - James Loh
However, very often, human beings only get to face their regrets at their death beds or when they are strike with a terminal illness where they know they only live for a limited number of days.

As such, if human being can work backwards and start thinking about what they will regret over during his/her last days, would actually provide a strong reminder not to have them(regrets) on the last days where nothing can be done to change or do something about it. I read a post on Yahoo.com.sg article on 5 Regrets people have on their deathbeds and would like to share here.

1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

2. I wish I didn’t work so hard.

3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.
If you notice, of the 5, none of them are related to work, career and even Money. Dont quote me for saying work and money, they are indeed important in life, but what i am trying to say here is Money should not be the priority, but family and love ones are, because we dont regret not earning enough money in our last days.

Money should not be the priority, but family and love ones are, because we dont regret not earning enough money in our last days.- James Loh

I also liked the fact that the blogger herself who wrote these mentioned:

‘Many don't realize until the end that happiness is a choice’, said Ware in her blog post.
Life and death are inevitable in life, so is SAD and HAPPY. However, Life and Death is something we cant choose, but in HAPPY and SAD we CAN!

Therefore, HAPPINESS is a choice and never a based on LUCK or SURROUNDINGS. To one, it could means freedom, whereas on the other hand, it means stress and decision making. Decision making is one of the worst thing that could happen to someone who hates to choose! I am sure you have met one of them in your life. For example:

"Hello dear(girlfriend), what would like to have for your dinner? you asked.

"Anything!" She replied
In actual fact, decision making normally have subsequent consequences, normally consequences in 2 distinct direction. Can either go RIGHT or WRONG. This is common sense yet many people dare not make the step to make a "180 degrees" change just to make life better.

In life, many people may do the same 'WRONG' thing over and over again. However, how many actually change the WRONG thing and decide that it is right. Of course, then again, if a wrong mistake or choice is made, sometimes there are deva

stating effect/consequence which ends us up in a state we commonly know - REGRET

No doubt i have regrets after regrets in my life. For example, why dont i study harder or become an entrepreneur at the start of my career? What didnt i buy the house when it is feasible and reacheable? Why didnt I learn to be more consistent and striving for the best with more discipline?

However, what i have learnt is the REGRET is a memory which propels us to do better next time! (I dont think many people would commit the same mistake which leads to their regret)

If you are at crossroad(s) today when reading this post, take the DARING STEP and make decision swift. Don't worry about failure or regret, because you will know that you wont regret over the same thing ever again!

By James Loh.

- debaholic Blog 2006 -

Poker poker poker

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 307px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GDGkh9aDW1E/Te5ZdvcBrcI/AAAAAAAAAD4/gDAsig-ljE8/s320/poker.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5615524152862682562" />
Has been quite a week, poker poker poker with my bao bei Roselinn. lols.

Finally got 3 million, but now, lost back to merely 1m. I was hit by a stupid b****** who pushed the big metal trolley and knocked against my ankle, causes me to be in pain for hours and is still hurting now! (After 5 hours!) It happened at jurong point and worst part is, when Derrick was driving the vehicle, an unexpected air re-freshener fell onto my upon a sharp turn. (Count it suay or what, u decide.

As the title suggest, it has been a long day trying to learn Sun Tze's art of war. I downloaded a few Apps(free) via Iphone and it is beginning to looks good! His law or so called Art of War is never only meant for war, as many people know. It is about the logic and 'rule' in which one would need to adhere to, in order to become successful.

I hope in the next few days i would be able to suggest some here.
LOL.

However, i thought the main entertainment i've got is my baobei and her teammate. How? Just need to watch their video and it brightens up my day again! Below are some "illustrations"

One day before my exam, i also decided to take some 'time-off' to go for a morning exercise in the likes of my fav. sports - Soccer @ balestier.

It was a last minute decision and i think it pay good dividends as now i am more awake and active to go on with the battle for tomorrow. 2 PAPERS in a day is crazy! I wonder how i survived thru last time and seriously, exams sucks! study sux as well! I dont understand why so many people love to study so much. No doubt, in poly, life is so care-free, but looking back, i remembered i told myself this:

Wah! Heng ar, my last paper ever in my life! I am a free man!

However, i decided to take a path towards securing the 'basic' education level of having a degree in singapore, and officially announced a 'Bachelor' (of ICT in this case). LOL.

Okay, time to get back to studies now! This document will hopefully clarify most of the issues
around remote connections.

First, networking protocols are disabled by default in SQL Server Express.
Thus, if someone simply installs Express and chooses all the defaults, SQL
Server Express will only be able to have connections originating on the
local machine where SQL Server is installed.

To enable SQL Server Express to accept remote connections we need to perform
the following steps:

STEP 1: Enabling TCP/IP

First we must tell SQL Server Express to listen on TCP/IP, to do this
perform the following steps:

1. Launch the SQL Server Configuration Manager from the "Microsoft SQL
Server 2005 CTP" Program menu
2. Click on the "Protocols for SQLEXPRESS" node,
3. Right click on "TCP/IP" in the list of Protocols and choose, "Enable"

STEP 2: To Browse or not to Browse

Next, we have to determine if we want the SQL Browser service to be running
or not. The benefit of having this service run is that users connecting
remotely do not have to specify the port in the connection string. Note: It
is a security best practice to not run the SQLBrowser service as it reduces
the attack surface area by eliminating the need to listen on an udp port.

OPTION A: If you want to always specify a TCP port when connecting (Not
using SQL Browser service) perform the following steps else skip these
steps:

1. Launch the SQL Server Configuration Manager from the "Microsoft SQL
Server 2005 CTP" Program menu

2. Click on the "Protocols for SQLEXPRESS" node

3. Click on the "TCP/IP" child node

4. You will notice an entry on the right panel for "IPAll", right click
on this and select, "Properties"

5. Clear out the value for "TCP Dynamic Ports"

6. Give a TcpPort number to use when making remote connections, for
purposes of this example lets choose, "2301"

At this point you should restart the SQL Server Express service. At this
point you will be able to connect remotely to SQL Express. A way I like to
check the connection is my using SQLCMD from a remote machine and connecting
like this:

SQLCMD -E -S YourServer\SQLEXPRESS,2301

The "," in the server name tells SQCMD it's a port.

So you've tried this and still get an error. Take a look at Step 3, this
should address the remaining issue.

OPTION B: If you want to use SQL Browser service perform these steps:

            Note:
You will need to make this registry key change if you are using the April
CTP or earlier versions:

To enable sqlbrowser service to listen on the port 1434, the following
registry key must be set to 1

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\90\SQL
Browser\Ssrplistener

            Next, restart the sqlbrowser service.

1. Start the SQL Browser Service

STEP 3: Firewall..?

At this point you should be able to remotely connect. If you still
can't chances are you have a firewall configured on the computer where SQL
Express is running. The instructions below are for Windows XP SP2's
firewall settings.

To enable the firewall to allow SQL Server Express traffic:

1. Launch the Windows Firewall configuration tool from the control
panel.

2. Click the Exceptions Tab

3. Click the "Add Programs." button and select "sqlservr.exe" from the
location where you install SQL Server Express

You should be able to remotely connect. Note, you can get more restrictive
by just specifying the port number that will be allowed (used best when
configured with Option A).

Note: If you chose to use the SQL Browser service, you must also add
sqlbrowser service executable to the exception list as it listens on udp
port 1434.

Credits to article posted by SQLexpress posted on 5 May 2005, http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sqlexpress/archive/2005/05/05/415084.aspx
- debaholic Blog 2006 -

Top 10 Reasons Small Businesses Fail

1. The math just doesn't work. There is not enough demand for the product or service at a price that will produce a profit for the company. This, for example, would include a start-up trying to compete against Best Buy and its economies of scale.

2. Owners who cannot get out of their own way. They may be stubborn, risk adverse, conflict adverse -- meaning they need to be liked by everyone (even employees and vendors who can't do their jobs). They may be perfectionist, greedy, self-righteous, paranoid, indignant, or insecure. You get the idea. Sometimes, you can even tell these owners the problem, and they will recognize that you are right -- but continue to make the same mistakes over and over.

3. Out-of-control growth. This one might be the saddest of all reasons for failure -- a successful business that is ruined by over-expansion. This would include moving into markets that are not as profitable, experiencing growing pains that damage the business, or borrowing too much money in an attempt to keep growth at a particular rate. Sometimes less is more.

4. Poor accounting. You cannot be in control of a business if you don't know what is going on. With bad numbers, or no numbers, a company is flying blind, and it happens all of the time. Why? For one thing, it is a common -- and disastrous -- misconception that an outside accounting firm hired primarily to do the taxes will keep watch over the business. In reality, that is the job of the chief financial officer, one of the many hats an entrepreneur has to wear until a real one is hired.

5. Lack of a cash cushion. If we have learned anything from this recession (I know it's "over" but my customers don't seem to have gotten the memo), it's that business is cyclical and that bad things can and will happen over time -- the loss of an important customer or critical employee, the arrival of a new competitor, the filing of a lawsuit. These things can all stress the finances of a company. If that company is already out of cash (and borrowing potential), it may not be able to recover.

6. Operational mediocrity. I have never met a business owner who described his or her operation as mediocre. But we can't all be above average. Repeat and referral business is critical for most businesses, as is some degree of marketing (depending on the business).

7. Operational inefficiencies. Paying too much for rent, labor, and materials. Now more than ever, the lean companies are at an advantage. Not having the tenacity or stomach to negotiate terms that are reflective of today's economy may leave a company uncompetitive.

8. Dysfunctional management. Lack of focus, vision, planning, standards and everything else that goes into good management. Throw fighting partners or unhappy relatives into the mix, and you have a disaster.

9. The lack of a succession plan. We're talking nepotism, power struggles, significant players being replaced by people who are in over their heads -- all reasons many family businesses do not make it to the next generation.

10. A declining market. Book stores, music stores, printing businesses and many others are dealing with changes in technology, consumer demand, and competition from huge companies with more buying power and advertising dollars.

In life, you may have forgiving friends and relatives, but entrepreneurship is rarely forgiving. Eventually, everything shows up in the soup. If people don't like the soup, employees stop working for you, and customers stop doing business with you. And that is why businesses fail.

Credits to

JAY GOLTZ, On Thursday 6 January 2011, 3:05 SGT They won't solve any existing problems you have, but if you follow them all you should be able to avoid virtually all problems in the future.

Things you should NOT do
--------------------------------
1: Use Internet Explorer (1)
2: Use any browser based on Internet Explorer (e.g. Maxathon and MSN Explorer)
3: Use Outlook or Outlook Express (2)
4: Open email attachments you haven't manually scanned with your virus scanner
5: Open email attachments you were not expecting, no matter who they appear to be from
6: Respond to spam messages, including using unsubscribe links
7: Visit questionable websites (e.g. porn, warez, hacking)
8: Poke unnecessary holes in your firewall by clicking "Allow" every time some program requests access to the Internet (3)
9: Click directly on links in email messages
10: Use file sharing or P2P programs
11: Use pirated programs

Things you SHOULD do
-----------------------------
1: Use a non-IE or IE based browser (4)
2: Always have an up to date virus scanner running (5)
3: Always have a firewall running (6)
4: Install all the latest security updates (7)(8)(9)
5: Delete all unsolicited emails containing attachments without reading
6: Manually scan all email attachments with your virus scanner, regardless of whether it's supposed to be done automatically
7: Copy and paste URLs from email messages into your web browser
8: Inspect links copied and pasted into your web browser to ensure they don't seem to contain a second/different address
9: Establish a regular backup regimen (10)(11)
10: Make regular checks of your backup media to ensure it is still good (12)

Being a considerate Internet user & other online tips
----------------------------------------------------------------
1: Do not send attachments in emails (13)(14)
2: Do not use stationary or any other kind of special formatting in emails (13)
3: Do not TYPE IN ALL CAPS (15)
4: Avoid texting speak or "l33t speak" (16)
5: Do not poke sleeping bears (17)
6: Do not use registry cleaners/fixers/optimizers (18)(19)

Offline tips and suggestions
----------------------------------------------------------------
1: Avoid buying Acer, HP. Compaq, Gateway, and eMachines computers (20)(21)(22)(23)
2: Avoid sub-$500 systems that aren't netbooks or part of some limited time price promotion (24)

Notes
--------

(1) Sadly sometimes this is unavoidable, so only use IE when the site absolutely will not work with any other browser and you cannot get that information/service anywhere else, and only use IE for that one specific site.
(2) Outlook and Outlook Express are very insecure, and basically invite spam. The jury is still out on Vista's Windows Mail, but given Microsoft's history with email programs, extreme caution is advised. Possible replacements include Mozilla Thunderbird, Eudora, The Bat, and dozens of others.
(3) When it doubt over whether or not to allow some program, use Google to find out what it is and whether or not it needs access to the Internet. Otherwise, denying access is the safest course of action, since you can always change the rule later.
(4) On Windows your options include: Mozilla Firefox, Seamonkey, Opera, Flock, Chrome, and Safari. I would personally recommend Firefox with the NoScript extension for added security, but it the important thing is to pick one and use it instead of IE.
(5) AVG Free and Avast are available if you need a decent free virus scanner
(6) XP/Vista's firewall is probably good enough for 99% of all Windows users, but other options include ZoneAlarm, Outpost Firewall, and Comodo. If you have a router with a firewall built into it, there is no need for any of the aforementioned firewalls to be running.
(7) Microsoft's usual system is to release security updates every second Tuesday of the month.
(8) Use of Windows Update on Windows operating systems prior to Windows Vista requires Internet Explorer, and is thus a valid exception to the "No IE" rule.
(9) Service packs should ALWAYS be installed. They frequently contain security updates that will ONLY be found in that service pack.
(10) You can go with a full fledged backup program, or simply copying important files onto a CD/DVD/Flash drive.
(11) I'd recommend a tiered backup system. For example, you might have 5 rewritable DVDs, and every day you burn your backup onto a new disc. On the 6th day, you erase the disc for Day #1 for your backup, and so on so that you have multiple backups should one disc ever go bad.
(12) Replace rewritable CDs and DVDs approximately every 3-6 months.
(13) These dramatically increase the size of email messages (2-3X minimum) and clog up email servers already straining to cope with the flood of spam pouring in daily.
(14) If you want to share photos with friends/family, upload them to some photo sharing site like Flickr or Google's Picasa Web and then send people a link to that particular photo gallery.
(15) This is considered to be the same as SHOUTING and many people find it to be hard to read along with highly annoying.
(16) Unless the goal is to make yourself look like a pre-adolescent girl, or someone overcompensating for their gross inadequacies, and you don't want people to take you seriously.
(17) Most REAL hackers are quite content to leave you alone unless you make them take notice of you. No dinky little software firewall or consumer grade router is going to keep them out of your system. So do not go to some hacker website or chat room and start shooting your mouth off unless you're prepared to accept the consequences
(18) Most of these programs are scams, and sell you something you don't need. Most of them report non-issues in an attempt to boost the number of "issues". Sometimes using these programs can lead to a non-functioning computer.
(19) The Windows registry is not some mystical black box of untapped performance tweaks for Windows, that will lead to untold improvements in system performance. Most of the tweaks will lead to very modest performance gains of 1-2% tops, and probably less than 10% all combined. There is also a good chance that you will render your system unbootable if you make a mistake when editing. Registry default settings are set that way for a reason. Just do yourself a favor, and forget you ever heard of the Windows registry unless you are a computer programmer/debugger and your job requires knowledge of the registry.
(20) Acer now owns Gateway and eMachines
(21) HP owns Compaq
(22) Hardware failures seem far more common with these brands than can be considered normal
(23) These companies use cheap labor in Asian countries were working conditions are often what would be considered sweat shops, and are run by brutal dictatorships, which you are supporting by buying from these companies
(24) If you just do some simple math, and realize that the cost of individual components like the CPU are around 25-33% of the total retail cost of the system, and everyone involved in the making and selling of the system is looking to make a profit, how much money can they possibly be making on each system. And if you're only making a few pennies on every system, how much quality control do you really think is going to go into the manufacturing process?
- debaholic Blog 2006 -

Busy Busy Busy

For the past 2 weeks, i have been really busy and no time for most of the things i want to do.

I.e. de-register my old bike, pay lawyer $200, call starhub asking for Iphone, delivering an order and most of all, spending more time with my Roselinn.

It has been a tough 2 weeks, at times, i was kept awake till 5am in the morning to settle Big orange stuffs. Or simply, you can say 'jaded' or 'numb-ness', i am sick and tired of changing my role. I not sure about you, how many people will enjoy changing your role every now and then? Especially, at least 3 major changes in one year? I doubt it.

Everytime, i was used as the 'finger' to cover the 'hole' that is leaking water in the company. I am not sure whether it was a compliment (for being all-rounder) or, it is an insult. I have pondered over the past few days, or in fact the past few weeks thinking what i need to do, or rather, what I want to do.

What i need now is really stablity, higher paid, a fresh start. I do not know what the future lies, but i really need to set a goal for myself for the next 5 years.

What i want to be?
What i want to achieve?
How much i need to earn?
What are the milestones that i want to accomplish?

With the current situation, it will not be feasible to talk about the above questions. I want to change, but how? It seems like my confidence has hit the lowest point in my life.
- debaholic Blog 2006 -

Hangover of 2009's Bad luck

I hated to mention this, but 2009's bad luck on me is still in effect. I.e. Work, life, football etc...

I was never injury prone before my accident back in 2009's may. But everything changes since, i was forced to be out of soccer for 6 months( Longest period of non-footballing action since i started playing football). my secret dream about being the captain has been dashed.

Everything else changes as well, my career, my money(all spent in medical bills and new bike), and almost everything else.

There is always a saying:

There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I have used this phrase to encourage my friends in the past, and similarly, i have used this phrase to encourage myself, but indeed, i am still in the tunnel after so long. But i never regretted learning bike in the first place. Without it, i would have been charged in army for being late and many more.

There are also positives about it, i.e. i have seen the reality and know who care for u the most.

Starting from Herman, special thanks to him throughout the period, he came down from work to send me to polyclinic many times, sent be back to office to play dota, sent me to tan tock seng hospital, sent me to Lawyer firm, I will never forget his kindness. He was one of my few friends who visited me in hospital. He wlll always be my brother. (^^)==b

Secondly, i would like to thank my Mum for her unconditional love and care during this period of time.

Lastly, Roselinn played a vital role for me during that period of time as well. She showed 110% to me despite her curfew and restrictions. Kudos to her, she has make my time easier, and also, she had underwent awful time trying to bring me to the brighter side.

Beside the thanks giving, I really hope that 2010 would be a perfect year. Most imptly, i really need to boost to my stamina and to be back on track again.
- debaholic Blog 2006 -

Jack Neo's Scandal

What is your thoughts on this?

Should Jack stop his wonderful works in terms of producing movies?

The above are the questions you may probably ask. How about ah nan's comment? (below, translated from mandarin, chinese)

It is normal for men to play woman
by Ah Nan
I wonder when this will end, if Jack is not a celebrity, will this incident be made public? I doubt so, this whole incident put alot of pressure and stress on the old couple. It's not surprising for a director to have 'alot of girls throwing themselves' at, just look at Wan Jing from HK, i believe he has countless girls.

Just give them a break, pls, media is taking this chance to boost their sales of their papers. This is their family matters, let them decide and settle themselves. As quoted from Pastor Tan(From CHC), just leave them alone so that they can rebuild their marriage. Every men will fall, what they need is a chance to redeem themselves.

In regards to whether Jack should disband J-Team, i am afraid not. Like it or not, he is the most talented local movie director, he should use his future movies as part of the redemption for himself, and do Singapore and his family proud once more. That should be the most positive thing to do.

Be it a big mistake or a small mistake, they deserve a chance for self-redemption. Give him, and his family a chance.

S'pore film-maker Jack Neo's press conference on Yahoo! It's simple, just now when i was eating at a coffee shop near my house, i saw one typical public-enemy-faced child playing DS, I guess he is only about 10 year old, guess what?

I heard him scolding his mom "KNN CCB" in hokkien, i guess you all know what's it. That's the kind of child we see these days. I also heard that they do have sex at only 12 years old. Amazing. Luckily for me, there are power points all over NP which allow me to utilise my laptop without the fear of power low.

Well, today's meeting goes kinda smoothly except for more requirements and changes required. Nevertheless, it seems like my hard work for the past few days paid off, as it is close to what the user requires.

At the same time, I missed my silly Roselinn~ Yesterday she showed me emoticon which is darn funny! After i attended my first class after missing the first 2, I totally do not know what i have learnt.

It's not easy, straight forward traditional programming like vb.net(Sequential). Lift up your hand now!

None!

Why? Because at times, it's not something where you can use your logic to think. It's beyond logic at times.

It's more difficult if you are doing programming in Java and VB.net at the same time. For a simple sentence, i may sometimes confuse with the syntax. (as shown below)

Vb.net (Right syntax)
Dim strDynamic as new String

Java
String strDynamic; // with the colon

I am expected to work late, bt at times, people just look at the interface, they do not know how much to be done at backend. I wont mention who, but you know who. It's a lot of debugging.

What makes it more difficult is not only the requirement to program within a short time-span, it is also the fact that taking over someone' else work makes it even harder!

I do not know how long can I can continue with this life, but it's really very exhausting.

It is hard to do studying and work at the same time, although it's rewarding at the end of the day. Certainly, I do not know what to expect next.....

With this, i better get back to work! Normally the box 10 would contain 1million pounds.

Why?

It's simple, jus look at the amount and compare it with the box number, if it's identical, most probably it should be the box that will make u rich.

I also notice that this theory is only applicable for the last 4 boxes onwards. Also, if you dont find any linkage between box and the amount, just try your luck!

Good luck and have fun playing this wonderful game! Expectations were not met, promises went empty.

I do not know what's more to say or do, when you know that nothing can be changed, except, time will prove itself. For my part, i just want to do well for my role in the company, nothing else, no more request(knowing they cant be met).

Anyway, Happy chinese new year to all!
- debaholic Blog 2006 -

www.msbeau.com pls support.

Hi all, pls support my girlfrend's Online gadget store at www.msbeau.com
- debaholic Blog 2006 -

Traffic accident

Traffic accident 09 May 2009

I never knew this would happened to me. Has it been changed?" And those are quite the good questions, which I have also grappled with.
This means you have to do research, find out the facts. And when you look at the facts its astonishing.

The Old Testament books (Genesis - Malachi) were written from 1400 B.C. to 400 B.C. and the books of the New Testament were written from 40 A.D. to 90A.D. So, doing the math, anywhere from 3400 to 1900 years have elapsed since a book of the Bible was written originally. Today, most of the original manuscripts have been lost, or likely don't exist anymore, also the books have been copied again and again. So, its reasonable to question the inerrancy of the Bible. In 2 Timothy 3:16-17 the bible says that it is inerrant and God-breathed when God originally inspired men to write it. That doesnt apply to copys of the manuscripts. In early times scribes devoted their whole lives to copying the bible exactly, but no one is perfect, so minor differences have resulted in various copies of the bible, and of all the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts in existence no two are alike until the 1500's when the printing press was invented. But, if you ask any unbiased document scholar they will agree that the Bible has been remarkably preserved over such a long period of time. Copies of the bible from the 14th century ar nearly identical to copys from the 3rd century. When the Dead Sea Scrolls were found it was amazing how similar they were to other ancient Copies of the Old Testament, even though the dead sea scrolls were hundreds of years older than anything previously found. So, no matter how hard of a skeptic you are you have to admit that the bible has been transmitted over the centuries far better than any other ancient document. Also, there is no evidence that the bible has been revised, edited, or tampered with in any way. The number of manuscripts would immediately point out one that distorts God's word. There is also no change in biblical doctrine by the minor differences that have appeared, because those differences were probably just misplaced periods or misspelling of peoples names or other things. We can have all the confidence that the Bible is the same as it was originally written, because God has protected his word even against people trying to destroy it, how else could it last so long?
The bible is unique in its continuity, it was written over roughly a 1600 year period by 40 authors, some fishermen, others politicians, kings, shepherds, and historians. They were from three different continents, and wrote in three different languages. They wrote about hundreds of controversial subjects, yet they wrote everything in agreement and perfect harmony. They wrote in dungeons, temples, on beaches, and on hillsides, during peace and during war. Yet their words sound like they came from the same source. 10 people today couldnt write about something and totally agree on one controversial subject, yet God picked 40 different people to write the bible, and its in total agreement.
The bible is unique in its cirulation. The invention of the printing press in 1450 made it possible to print books in large quantities. The first book printed was the Bible. Since then, the Bible has been read by more people and printed more times than any other book in history. By 1930, over one billion Bibles had been distributed by Bible societies around the world. By 1977, Bible societies alone were printing over 200 million Bibles each year, and this doesn’t include the rest of the Bible publishing companies. No one who is interested in knowing the truth can ignore such an important book.
The bible is unique in its translation in that it has been translated into over 1400 languages, no other book compares.
The bible is unique in its survival. In ancient times, books were copied by hand onto manuscripts which were made from parchment and would decay over time. Ancient books are available today only because someone made copies of the originals to preserve them. For example, the original writings of Julius Caesar are no longer around. We know what he wrote only by the copies we have. Only 10 copies still exist, and they were made 1,000 years after he died. Only 600 copies of Homer’s The Iliad exist, made 1,300 years after the originals were written. No other book has as many copies of the ancient manuscripts as the Bible. In fact, there are over 24,000 copies of New Testament manuscripts, some written within 35 years of the writer’s death.
The bible is unique in withstanding attack. No other book has been so attacked throughout history as the Bible. In A.D. 300 the Roman emperor Diocletian ordered every Bible burned because he thought that by destroying the Scriptures he could destroy Christianity. Anyone caught with a Bible would be executed. But just 25 years later, the Roman emperor Constantine ordered that 50 perfect copies of the Bible be made at government expense. The French philosopher Voltaire, a skeptic who destroyed the faith of many people, boasted that within 100 years of his death, the Bible would disappear from the face of the earth. Voltaire died in 1728, but the Bible lives on. The irony of history is that 50 years after his death, the Geneva Bible Society moved into his former house and used his printing presses to print thousands of Bibles.
The Bible has also survived criticism. No book has been more attacked for its accuracy. And yet archeologists are proving every year that the Bible’s detailed descriptions of historic events are correct.

Q: How is the Bible different from other religious books?
A: The Bible not only claims to be God¹s Word, but the verifiable evidence from archaeology, fulfilled prophecy, and its self-testimony authenticate this claim.

Q: How did we get the Bible?
A: God guided human authors to write down His Word without error. Then it was copied and recopied by professionally trained men, reproduced in print and preserved in the words we have today.

Q: Who has the right interpretation of the Bible?
A: The Bible, like any other book, can be misinterpreted. Interpreting each phrase within its context by considering its historical background, taking the words in a plain, ordinary, normal way, will clarify the author¹s meaning. The correct interpretation is what the author intended his readers to understand.

Resources:
me
www.gotquestions.org
www.evidencebible.com
www.relationalconcepts.org
- debaholic Blog 2006 -

73 Ways to be a good manager

Interactions - the lifeblood of any organization…

1. What goes around comes around: Treat your employees, peers and superiors with respect, from the lowest janitor to the CEO of the company.

2. Basic humaneness pays: Acknowledge that your employees are human beings first, and your employees only next; accord them their due dignity.

3. Know your employees: Using first names thaws a formal atmosphere and makes for a more harmonious work environment. Throw in a casual question about a child or a problem you know they recently went through.

4. Bring out their hidden potential: Tap your employees hidden talents and bring them to the front.

5. One man's meat is another's poison: What serves as motivation for one may not mean as much to another, use your discretion in getting the best out of your employees.

6. Equality among all: It's not wise to play favorites and show bias when dealing with your employees.

7. Don't be a Jack-of-all-trades: Delegate work. Your employees will welcome the chance to show what they are capable of.

8. Match the right job to the right person: Some people are more suited to creative tasks while others are better at the repetitive ones. As a manager, you should be able to sense when tasks and personnel are mismatched and set things right quickly.

9. Delineate responsibility: Establish boundaries of control for each employee so that blame or praise can be assigned accordingly.

10. Trust your employees: Do not monitor every aspect and moment of their working day. The realization that you trust them to do their jobs effectively without supervision will drive them to justify that faith.

11. Pay them well: Salaries should be on par or higher than industry standards. Adequate monetary compensation is one of the best motivators for hard work.

12. Reward exceptional performances: Acknowledge and appreciate every extra effort that your employees take. While money as an incentive is always welcome, I'm sure they'll also welcome professional advancement opportunities, a day or a few hours off, or just a pat on the back.

13. Praise in public, punish in private: Taking an employee to task in front of his/her colleagues, even though he/she may have erred, has the worst kind of demoralizing effect. On the other hand, complimenting them on a job well done in the presence of others serves to motivate them to perform better.

14. Loudness does not help: Do not rake employees over the coals for mistakes that happen inadvertently. Instead, help them understand the error so they don't repeat it. A loud voice and swear words will only make them tune out to the message you are trying to convey.

15. Personalization is the key: Each of us is different; while some employees may appreciate you following an informal approach in all your interactions, others may not take kindly to the familiarity.

16. Lend a ear: Empathize with their personal problems without getting too involved in their personal lives.

17. Make them feel they count: Every employee likes to know that he/she is making a positive contribution to the company and is not just a decorative piece that is dispensable. The fact that they make a difference will drive them to be more productive.

18. Family matters: Allow your employees time for their families and personal issues when the situation warrants it. Support them in times of emotional upheavals when you know they may not be able to turn in their best work.

19. Constructive criticism works: If you feel that an employee has the potential to do much better at his/her job, take them aside and tell them how you feel. Sometimes, the belief that a superior has in you pushes you to achieve more.

20. Be a mentor: Anyone can be a superior, but it takes a special person to be a mentor to people working under him/her. Encourage your employees' positive aspects and help them eliminate their weaker traits.

21. Don't hold too tight: Allow your employees to pursue both professional and personal opportunities to advance. Holding them back only shows your pettiness. Help them further their education or broaden their horizons in work-related skills. This builds both respect and intense loyalty.

22. Flattery will get you nowhere: Do not flatter your employees to get them to do their job. A good manager (or employee) knows the difference between praise and flattery. The former is welcome, the latter, a definite no.

23. Ask and you will receive: Get suggestions and opinions from your employees. Ask them for better ways to go about work and newer methods to improve productivity. Besides improving their respect for you, it will make them feel part of the whole process.

24. Mistakes happen: Allow your employees room to make mistakes and you'll find that they do a perfect job. Running a tight ship will only make them nervous and lead to a lot of errors.

25. Give credit where it's due: Do not ride piggyback on your employees as you take the path to success. If a brilliant concept was the brainchild of your employee, accord him due credit, especially in front of your superiors.

26. Group dynamics: Learn to manage your team well. Know which people work well together, who does which tasks the best, and who is capable of what, in order the get the best results from team work.

27. Feedback matters: Provide correct feedback. If the feedback is it's negative, don't let it demoralize your employees; if it's positive, don't let it go to their heads.

28. Share misfortune: Show your solidarity with your employees when they are forced to take a pay cut when the organization faces financial difficulties. It's difficult, but offering to slash your salary will win you oodles of respect.

29. It's a diverse world: Respect the cultural and social differences of your employees. Their religion and rituals mean a lot to them; belittling them will not win you any brownie points.

30. Show interest: Indifference is as bad, if not worse, than too much interference. Take the right amount of interest in what your employees do.

31. Allow them to complain: Hear them out before deciding if their complaint is genuinely valid.

32. Different people, different styles: Each employee has his/her working style; recognize this and allow them that freedom as long as it does not affect the job being done.

33. No technology needed: Break bad news to your employees in person. If you have to let them go or ask them to take a pay cut, do not resort to hiding behind an email.

34. Equal work, equal pay: Distribute work evenly so that no one person feels he/she is unfairly burdened.

35. Judge not: Don't play favorites in employee quarrels and misunderstandings; you're not Solomon the Wise or the Supreme Court judge deciding who's wrong and who's right. If it's work-related, try to smooth things over without taking sides; otherwise, stay out of it.

36. No tattletales wanted: Don't encourage employees who carry tales about their peers.

37. Time flies: Don't set unreasonable deadlines knowing fully well that your employees will have to give up every second of their free time to get the task done on schedule.

38. Disseminate information: Keep your employees within the loop. Inform them of all decisions that will affect and be affected by their work. Don't treat them as mindless machines that are used only to get the job done.

39. Keep your distance: Don't become too friendly with certain employees even though you feel you're on the same wavelength. Others may suspect favoritism, even when there is none.

40. No "I" only "We": Don't flaunt your authority; "You have to do it because I say so" is not the way to go when you want your employees' respect; you may get the job done but lose your employee's esteem in the process.

Work out work and vacation issues…

41. Do not overburden them with work: Just because you know your employees are not in a position to refuse your demands, do not dump work on them. You stand to anger them and run the risk of a poorly performed job.

42. Vacations are personal: When your employees have time off, do not demand to know where they're going or who they're taking along. Do not invade their personal space.

43. Keep the office at the office: Avoid calling employees at home or during vacations unless there is an emergency of the direst nature. Seek prior permission to call in such cases.

44. Avoid last-minute tasks: No one likes to start a task at the end of the day, especially when you have other plans for the evening. Do not throw work at your employees just as they are about to call it a day.

If you are male…

45. No adult humor: Do not crack vulgar and offensive jokes at the expense of female employees or the wives/girlfriends of male employees.

46. Accord respect: Treat your female employees well; do not look down on them or show chauvinistic tendencies.

47. Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus: Remember that male and female physiques are different. Cut your female employees some slack when they have special needs during pregnancy, childbirth, maternity and PMS.

If you are female…

48. No false pretenses: Do not take perverse pleasure in putting down male employees just because you feel the need to assert yourself.

49. Clothes maketh the (wo)man: Dress appropriately. Clothes that reveal more than they cover will only make you the butt (no pun intended) of office jokes.

There's always room for personal improvement…

50. Be the best: Employees automatically respect managers who are good at their jobs and who know what they are talking about. It's very difficult to listen to an employer that doesn't make very much sense.

51. Manage your time: It pays to be organized. Plan your day and chart out your activities so that you don't have to rush around in front of your employees.

52. Ethics matter: Be ethical in all your dealings, from the most trivial to the most important. Your employees will not only hold you in high regard, they will also follow the example you set.

53. Be proactive, not reactive: Take control of events and happenings. Don't wait for things to happen before you decide your course of action.

54. Admit your mistakes: It's hard to swallow pride and admit that you're wrong, especially to your subordinates. Doing so will not only make them admire you more, but also make it easier for them to admit their own mistakes.

55. Rudeness does not pay: Learn the art of being authoritative without appearing to be rude.

56. Neither does arrogance: Do not swagger around in the mistaken knowledge that just because you are their superior, you have the right to do what you want.

57. Waste not, want not: Do not waste your time in trivial pursuits, even if you do not have important work to do. Idle chatter on the phone, browsing the Internet for fun, or chatting on the Web are better left out of the office, especially if you don't want your employees doing the same thing.

58. Humor works: A sense of humor, especially one directed at yourself, will go a long way in getting your employees to respect and like you as a person.

59. Focus, focus, focus: Stay focused on targets, both personal and the organization's. It's easier to shepherd your flock when you have a clear idea of where you're leading them.

60. Avoid the office grapevine: Do not support or join in gossip about your employees. The subject of the rumor (or truth) will certainly lose his/her last smidgen of respect for you.

61. Be one of the gang: Do not consider it below your dignity to do tasks that you normally ask your employees to do. Sharing their responsibility at times will help them relate to you on a more personal level.

62. Take love out of the air: Do not get romantically involved with or flirt with your employees.

63. Watch what you do: Inappropriate behavior and sexual harassment could end up costing you more than just the respect of your subordinates.

64. Don't suck up: Kissing up to your superior or boss will not put you in the good books of your employees. The ones that do approve your behavior will try to work their flattery on you to get on your good side.

65. Practice what you preach: Lead by example: come in early if you expect your employees to do so, stay late, work overtime, forgo vacations – anything you ask them to do, be willing to do it yourself.

66. Look and learn: Is there another manager that your team admires? Watch his actions – there are valuable lessons he can teach you.

67. Stand firm on your beliefs: Do not hesitate to stand up for what you believe is right, and do not cave in under pressure.

68. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again: Do not let failure get you down. Use your tribulations as stepping stones to success.

69. Stay firm on terra firma: Do not let success go to your head. Remember, life is full of ups and downs. Celebrate jobs well done and projects completed on time, but in an understated manner.

70. Be approachable: Let your employees know they can come to you with any issue and that you will give them both your time and a fair hearing.

71. Forgive and forget: Do not bear personal grudges against employees. It comes in the way of doing your job effectively.

72. Wisdom pays: Take decisions that are advantageous to both the organization and your employees; favoring one over the other will either make you less efficient or less popular.

73. Be there: You may not need to be around to get things done in the office, but make sure you are in everyday, monitoring progress and mapping out plans. An absent manager who comes in only to take credit for the work of his/her team is placed right at the bottom of the respect scale.

Being a manager, especially one that your employees respect and look up to, is certainly no piece of cake. Respect is one quality that is not innate, it has to be earned. Before I entered army, God put me in Bishan North CC to beef up my administrative skills. After which, Herman introduced me into Erlins, which I am really grateful to both God and him.

I knew this interesting boss, his name is Roland, during the interview, he did not even look at my resume! He employed me straight as a programmer for the Acumed project. Nevertheless, it took me 2 weeks to turn into a full-timer at Erlins. Times were tough as I've got to do the program, some adhoc websites and IT maintenance for some of our clients. At the time, only 3 of us, herman, roland and myself. We really worked very hard for the UOB project which my greatest regret is not to see it thru as I need to serve Army.

1 year 7 months later, I am back! I saw the great change God has placed in Erlins and it eventually grew into 3 companies, and now 4!

I'm really grateful to Roland, Vince and especially Herman for giving me this chance to learn from them as I really lost touch with IT! Most of all, I give thanks to the almight God! It is because no matter where he put me in, I always find a purpose in it and God is training me up~.

Lenovo Malaysia is really a eye-opener althu i am not a stranger to MNC. Back in my internship, I've worked for a MNC and excelled there. I left with a director's testimonial and an extension to my 3 months period.

I'm really forward to see this noah's ark(Erlins) grow and I want to be here to experience it! It will surely happen!
With God, all things is possible, and no weapon form against us will prosper!

- debaholic Blog 2006 -
